Bowen Therapy
Bowen Therapy is an extremely gentle technique. Very subtle moves are performed over the muscles and connective tissue, to send messages deep into the body, that retrieve memories of relaxed, balanced well being. This technique not only addresses musculo-skeletal issues, but also nerves, fascia, and internal organs. Bowen is very gentle, and no adverse effects have been reported. Sessions are one hour long and consist of gentle rolling movements over specific muscle groups, treatments are generally one week apart, and significant improvement is often seen after 3 to 5 sessions. It can be used to treat many conditions, from acute injury to chronic illness, the technique should be considered for:
